DivisServices, Inc. ("DivisServices," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and budgeting software (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide. Account details such as your name and email address, the household and budget data you enter (categories, transactions, bills, and notes), and any messages you send to our support team.
- Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as your device type, browser, IP address, and how you interact with the Service, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not require you to connect a bank account to use DivisServices, and we do not request your online banking credentials.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features;
- Create and secure your account and household;
- Send bill reminders, service updates, and support responses;
- Understand how the Service is used so we can make it better;

- With your household. Budget data you create is visible to members you invite to your household, according to the permissions you set.

- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and limit access to it.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. The Service is intended for adults managing household budgets. While families may add younger members to a household, accounts are created and controlled by an adult account holder. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
